The system has POS and server components.

 

Emporium's POS components run in a Linux and DOS environment.

 

The server components run in a Linux environment. Our development is done in a Slackware Linux environment.

 

Thanks to the modular architecture, the same software can be used to operate stores with only one PC functioning as a POS and server, or stores with dozens of POS Terminals and even groups of stores with thousands of POS Terminals.

 

Centralized data is stored in a relational database and our development is done in MySQL. 

 

The control of the server and the terminal network is done entirely via web browser. This implies that all operations can be done from anywhere, using almost any computer.
